Saguaros

Woodpeckers like to carve out nests
in these mighty desert dwellers.

Saguaro skeletons have an other-worldly charm about them,
Like clouds, they provide the zenspirational vagueness
That puts the message in the mind of the beholder.
Are those gargoyles looking down
From the top of a stone age column?

Dig the graceful way in which the arm points to the sky...
"To infinity; and beyond!"
Maybe it's an elephant trumpeting
That he's horny.
Bert Saguaro hugs his friend.
