As much as I try to avoid politics, it keeps finding me. It's hard not to find irony in the following.
Democrats:
* Richard Gephardt: Air National Guard, 1965-71.

* Al Gore: enlisted Aug. 1969; sent to Vietnam Jan. 1971 as an army
