If I Were Commander In Chief

I'm no Bonapart but it seems that we are seriously misusing our military resources. Exposing them to the chaos that is Baghdad is madness. The worst case scenario is what our commander in chief has strategized us into. Patroling urban scenes where the insurgents blend in with the general populace is the most difficult way of winning the hearts and minds of occupied people. It makes our soldiers sitting ducks and exposes their equipment to abuse and destruction.
We need to get our troops out of all the cities and towns and use them to seal the Syrian and Iranian borders. Such prepositioning of troops would be a good idea if Mr. Bush and his advisors are seriously trying to provoke a war with Iran. Even if they have no intention of attacking Iran such a move makes more sense because our troops would be able to slow the flow of Jihadists who want to join the struggle to chase us out. Out in the open our air superiority would make it much easier for our troops to be successful in choking off the supply lines. The insurgents already in country would have to leave their human shields behind. The rest of the people would have to find a way of settling their differences. If they can't live together they're free to segregate themselves as they see fit. We have no business trying to tell them how to run their lives. Hell, the fools in Washington don't even know how to protect our freedoms here. I think we need to remind them that they have the right to shut the fuck up!
Does the fact that such a move has not been made prove that their is no intention of attacking Iran? The answer would be easier to determine if the Bushites weren't so incompetent.
